This is a little something my friends at Mama's Sauce Print and Design and I did together. Most of the run went to Mama's, so I'll have just a handful of these for sale. Visit them at Mama's Sauce
My final print of 2009 represents the artist taking nonlinear creative concepts and actualizing them in physical terms. In other words, translating the mind's ether into something the rest of us can see, touch, and hang on the wall. This is what we do, and it's something I always struggle with, boiling the "thing of it" down that much yet still retaining the conceptual essence. It worked this time...I think?
Available Wednesday @ 8pm in my storefront.
UPDATE - These are sold out.

New Print - Fall Back The Clock
The third print in the Rose-Tinted Sunglasses series. As we turn back the clock let's go all the way back to the best part of fall - college football, homecoming and those sexy yet approachable cheerleaders. At least they were approachable for us artists! If I knew then what I know now...

Altercation Punk Comedy Tour
Awesome - I was able to land gig posters for two dates on this tour!
Look for my posters at the PA and MD stops.
Also I'll probably be lost somewhere in the Danbury, CT crowd. If you spot me, don't be shy.
Most of these are going to the tour, but if I have enough left I'll get them up in my store at some point. UPDATE - These are sold out.

Kame Bazooka
Whoa - two Kame Bazookas jumbos recently offered.
The first on eBay, sold for $606.56. Too bad he's had an arm replacement...
And now the second, with less than 24 hours to go as I'm writing this, is in absolutely deadstock (as they say in Japan) mint condition with the original (and very rare) box. Price - about $3400. Too rich for my blood.

My first Gig Poster
I'm working on it right now.
Background grooves by a band probably most of you have never heard of.
Joshua.
Great album - The Hand is Quicker Than the Eye, serious early 80s guitar shredding.
Joshua was fastest guitar in the West in 1982.
As for the poster, still under wraps, more to come. It's not for Joshua!

Alessandro Biffignandi
One of my favorite Italian pulp artists! There's a nice selection of his original paintings (all from private collections) on Comicartfans.com. This guy's covers are probably the only reason many of these magazines sold - the interior art was typically very amateurish.
Here's a nice bio, and another shorter one.

Long Time, No Blog (aka Eight Months of Updates!)
Last time I wrote here it was September and the future President was far from determined. Here we are 8 months (!) or so later. The US broad economy, housing, and unemployment are all still problem areas. Time will tell if the measures President Obama and his party have pushed through will have the desired long-term effect. Personally I fear the huge uptick in future taxation.
Art. Now that's something I can always blog about - more fun and less frustrating than politics. Since my last post of 2008 I've opened a storefront and released all sorts of new prints. Those of you that enjoyed working with my buddies at Medusa Expression can still get my prints there but now you can also go direct with me!
Here's what you (probably) missed:
Okay, that brings up to date. I'll have some "coming soon" news soon!
