Avengers Assemble!

Tripping around the net, found another original work I used to own. From artists Don Heck and Mike Esposito, a nice Avengers #111 story page. Panel two makes it look like Clint is sitting in the world's smallest shipyard.

Acquired in 1998, later sold on to another collector in 2000.

Hannibal King

No..not the Marvel Comics character. The artist (and real human). He's a good friend of mine but an even better illustrator.

We were talking the other day and he mentioned that he's got some interesting stuff going on. In addition to his new sketchbook Negative Space he's also been working on a secret project all summer. While a private commission, it's likely he'll end up with a very short run of books showing the work. I've seen some of it, art that's a nice throwback to a forgotten 40s style.

Should this stuff end up published (not definite yet), expect a drop around November.

Ernie Chan's Ghost Rider

Nice to see this old friend on eBay. Back in 2004 it was briefly part of my art collection; I later sold it for $1,800.

Wonder what it will fetch now?

Another rare Jumbo Machinder Villain pops up in Japan - not as rare as Dabulas but there's no such thing as a 'common' JM Villain. This one is in rough shape, starting bid $1,000.
